A client wants to confirm dates that someone else has pencilled? They trigger a challenge.

The original client gets 48 hours to book you or release the dates. Their uncertainty no longer sits on your calendar — it goes back to them.

Confirm

Once a client books, the dates are confirmed. You approve every booking. Clients only see what they need to see, while other holds stay private.

What stops a client holding my dates forever?

Every pencil has an expiry date. You choose the window (7 days by default), and clients must actively renew if they still need you.

If another client wants those dates, the clock starts. The original client has 48 hours to confirm or release them.

Holding your time is free. Holding it forever isn't.

Can clients see who else wants my dates?

No. Clients only see their own bookings and anonymous availability markers. They won't see names, rates, or who else is interested.

They'll know your time is valuable — without seeing your business.

Does Avvy replace contracts, rates, or payments?

No — and that's intentional. Avvy only manages your availability and bookings. Your contracts, rates, invoices, and payments stay wherever you already manage them.
